1996 LT1 Programing ???
ok here is what I have.. I know it might be posted someplace else but Im new to this efi stuff adn want to get started on my project and learn from there...
I have a 1996 LT1 from a roadmaster, yes i know its not a vett but the motors are kind of the same.. anyhow 1996 LT1 was obdII, and im having a very hard time looking for software and hardware to be able to emulate and then write to the onboard flash chip.. I have a socket so i can hook up a autoprom if it will work.. I like this LT1 system b/c its OBDII.. I realy want to play with it like people do with the 1994/95 OBDI systems.. Will autoprom work for my car ?? or is it a LOT diffrent since its OBDII?? does anyone have the def files to modify the ecm ??? anyhow any and all help would be much appriciated..

It specifically says LT4 though so I am going to email them to see if it can be used on the LT1 cars as well.

yes tunercat sold their rights to jet, im looking for a system like motes autoprom to work with my car.. its OBDII. it seems like they just dont support the motor like they used to.. i took apart the PCM and seen that it uses a Intel FLASH chip.. im going to remove it and solder a socket on it.. hope i can rig up the autoprom to it.. its going to cost me about $325 to find out i guess.. The JET sight dont say if it will work with a roadmaster but im sure its mostly like the impalla SS LT1..
