Just had my car scanned. It has a miss and I've been having an overheating problem. Just replaced wires, plugs and Opti, last summer. 1st off the scan showed bad O2 sensor on bank 2 after cat and cylinder 3 miss firing. They changed the fuel filter because I thought it was time ( can't hurt). Then they pressure tested the coolant system because I thought it had been sucking air in during cool down. Sure enough the water pump is leaking.
They suggested that I have the Injectors cleaned. That maybe the problem or it could be the water pump leaking on the opti. Any suggestions? Should I let them clean them for $46.00 or put something in the tank and let it clean itself?

If you are talking about dealer injector service save your money. Why not go to an electric water pump. Many claim 6 to 8 HP gains. Then see how it runs. You can try a bottle of injector cleaner. I use STP black bottle in my Jeeps every oil change. Never had to EVER service injectors.
