Default digital dash blink

My 92 digital dash and radio light blink when I put on the brakes. It's just a slight change but not right. Doesn't seem to casue any problem other than distraction. Any ideas?
Thanks

When you apply brakes, you put a sudden load on the alternator (the alternator supplies current when the engine is running) and the voltage regulator in the alternator cannot respond instantly, so sudden current loads cause a small voltage drop until the voltage regulator picks up the voltage. I'd appreciate it if you would look out the windshield when you are driving instead of the the instrument panel!
