Default Switching too vented Opti-Spark

Ok! I've searched this forum and read some articles. I have a new vented distributor for a 1995 vett. I have the GM double vent hose which hooks to the distributor, but..............
What I don't know is, do I have to change from a timing gear cover with a small distributor hole (92 thru 94 version) to a large hole 95 version???? I'm guessing Yes, but I haven't seen it specifically addressed in anything I've read so far. Can the small hole cover be modified by a machine shop??

Yes, you'll need a 95 timing cover, a longer dowel pin in your camshaft or a new camshaft, and a 95/95 opti wire harness.

Additionally you will need to have a vacuum source for the OptiSpark vacuum hose to go onto....stock comes off the intake, just below the throttle body.
And you will have to put a hose connector into your fresh air intake after the air filter.
