Electronically Adjustable Suspension
Hi from a C3'er! A friend of mine has a '93 with the electronically controlled suspension. He needs shocks, but doesn't want to shell out $800 for the correct stuff. What is involved in converting his car to a standard shock setup?

Tell your friend that Bilsten, the manufacturer of those shocks will rebuild them for a nominal charge. Much less than the cost of new shocks.
I don't have their number or URL handy, but why remove a nice feature?

Tell your friend to call bilstein @800-537-1085 they can rebuild his for less than the cost to convert it also they can revalve and supply him with new computer that will improve the ride and greatly improve the handleing this will cost $ 200:00 more for the new computer. NO way would I consider spending extra money to go from fx-3 to some standard shock setup. :nono:
