Electical problem-to start or not to start
I have a 91 c4 that just started having starting problems.I go to start the car and it will not start.The dash lites up and nothing else.I can come back ten minutes later then it starts up.It started a few months ago and has been getting worse.It does not matter if engine is hot or cold.Thanks for any advise.

Assuming no crank, my guess would be the Starter - A weak battery wouldn't/shouldn't recove amps - just sitting - to cause an intermittent no crank/start. Do make sure the cables are clean and snug. AND if it is turning over but not starting, repost as that could easily be a few other things.

Battery and cables check out fine.I just went out to start car.Nothing but dash lights.I saw on a Chevy site that there were phatom electrical problems with certain year Corvettes.This past spring I had to have the ignition key cylinder changed as I could not shut off the engine.Key got stuck in run positon.Then it has been about 5 monthes after that I starting having this problem.
