Stock are 1.5 non rollers. And the 1.6RR are a improvement in both drivetrain weight and friction as well as improving lift. Also with a cam you will need to tell the guys alot for help. For instance what are you goals in performance, do you want top end and give up low or do you want low end, as well as what you plan to do with your heads, and or intake.
Yes a 91 has stock roller lifters, non roller rockers. What part of that thread didn't contain enough info? The part where the guy much like you asked "what is the best cam" as a totally general question?
Stock rockers are 1.5-aftermarket are a choice of different rocker ratios.
Seriously the CorvetteForum is NOT the best source of engines v1.1, contrary to what most forum members would have you believe. Go to the library, talk to a mechanic friend or do google searches will yield some good information. My first suggestion is the mechanic friend.

OKAY! Lets try this again.
I would like to know which cam has been tryed by people and resulted in a performance gain yet didnt effect the daily drivability of the car. i am looking for a bit more power, thats it. I dont want to have to change alot of other components so im guessing the cam cant be too bumpy.
Is this good enough of a question
PS vader i went to your website a second ago, im in the process of reading it.
Truthfully your question is a bit vague, but you probably don't know enough to understand the magnitude of vague it is. However, I'll give you a response, in solid english even!
Ok, so here is the deal.
For the L98 with 113s. Buy 1.6 full roller rockers and put in a LPE 219 cam or comparable.
A lot of people do this with the SuperRam intake. But it will work well with your stock TPI too, better if you port it though.
A chip tune will be best, even better if you get it tuned on a dyno real time. Expect ~450$ for a dyno tune. Or you can go with tjwong for a long distance chip burn and some like skidwnit, Jesse, too. They are both cheaper, by tom wong (tjwong) my tuner will agree a dyno tune is optimal.
If you're keeping things pretty much stock, a smaller Cam will work best. Stay around 210* to 212* on the intake, and 8 to 10 more degrees on the exhaust lobe. Keep Lobe Seperation Angle at 112 to 114*and you should be ok.
TJ knows his stuff, and is in Vancouver I think. He could give you some good advice on your Cam choise.
Keep in mind that with the Accel 219, TPIS ZZ9, etc, you will have to change out your valve springs and retainers to ones that won't bind. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but the stockers will bind somewhere in the .470 to .480 lift, I believe.
Call the tuners and several of the cam manufacturers and get a hold of some of the better books as mentioned. Vaders sight has a lot of good info also. You will have to grow some thick skin in your quest for info on this site also unfortunately.
