1987 Tire Options
I'm looking at two types of tires, BFgoodrich G-force sports or Yokohama AVID V4S. These appear to be the only stock sizes left on TireRack.com that appeal to me.
I'm looking for performance and longevity.
Does anyone have any experience with these or other suggestions?

I have had the Yoko's for two years or so, and I am happy with them. These tires are only V-rated, but I do not race or autocross. The response might be a little slower than the Z-rated tires provide. They are quieter than the Falken Ziex that came on the car and they track better over truck-beaten pavement. I have a Z51 suspension in my 87, and these tires have helped to make the ride more bearable as well. I think I have about 20K on them, and I'm only down to about 7/32" tread. I have never driven on the Goodrich tires, so I have no idea how they compare. Good luck with your decision.
