It's most likly this vacuum valve under the fuel rail.

Actually my Cruise control didn't work. I really don't use the AC. The valve runs both. The heat kills these valves. The valve is similar to a pvc valve. Cost about $6

If you want to know anything about AC, do a seach on forum member SUNCR he is the guru of AC problems... You will see your problem come up quite often.... Check out this thread too...

Its not a wire. It actually a vacuum hose. Personnally I would just put a new valve on. If it's not bad, its probably about ready to be. Let face it, it cost $6, I spend $6 in one pull at the slot machines.
Just remove the rail cover, it takes about 5 minutes to put in.

If you still have problems, it's one less cheap part that people will suggest....

Here it is from Checker... I'm sure Napa also carries it too. Just print up the picture and show them the part numbers...
http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductL...tnumber=155421

Anytime your looking for a part and you know the part # (See my picture above) you can see if it fits your car by going to ACDELCO.com. You can also see what part Delco make for your car by going to the same site...
