Default 1992 Temp Increase.

I have had this vehicle for about 8 years. It has the waterpump and thermostat changed about 4 years ago. Recently the temp has gone from 198 to 204. This is occuring while driving 75mph. It has always read 198 even with the A/C on. The temp in FL is about 75. Has anyone gone through this before??

Doesn't seem to be of any real consequence. Maybe your temp sensor is getting corroded. Just guessing, seems minor.

First thing to do is remove the radiator and clean out the area between the radiator and AC condenser. These cars are known for sucking up lots of road debris, which restricts airflow. While the radiator is out it's a good time to take it to a shop and make sure it's flowing properly or have it cleaned out. Also a good time to do a coolant flush. Do a search of this section and there should be lots of information about all these topics.

Because yout temps have gone up slowly you have something progressively restricting. Probably your rad plugging up. If its an old one theres nothing like a new one.
