Default What heads?

What heads would you guys put on a zz 350 short block if you were me. Its only gonna be a street cruiser with intentions of maybe putting a super ram on it down the road to let the motor breath a little bit better and realize more of its potential.

The replacement head for an 88 is ZZ4 made by GM. I would have Comp Pro Magnum 1.6 roller rockers installed when you do your heads. You can pick up an extra 15 HP and still look stock. The roller rockers will be quiet, make less friction and not wear as fast as the stock stamped rockers. Do a search on this forum on AFR heads before you buy them.

You can find 113's for good prices out there with a little patience if yours are toast. If not a good valve job and 1.6 RR's and springs and you are good to go.

I did not order a set of 180's. I did order a set of 195's. I have not received my set of 195's. I have seen a set in person, and on the flow bench and they kick ***.

the flow bench doesn't have 4 wheels, a seat and a steering wheel. numbers a part of the story and can be made to turn a turd into gold. never hang on numbers. numbers won't be singing thru your head when your on the highway.

how do they feel? oh thats right, you have no idea

i'm just trying to say that being spokesman from Trickflow to AFR won't make any difference one iota for your purposes, and that includes long term.

no worries though. we all love each other

I have a set of AFR 195's on my LT1-4. The heads with addition of shorty headers (California Smog) & 1.6 roller rockers gave me an increase of 50RWHP on the dyno. They would have to be on my short list of any heads worth considering.

i'm 6'3" and flexible. shouldn't be a problem, even with a moving target. once target is grounded, the job becomes even easier.

I think the owner of this 88 anniversary edition wants to keep it stock looking, right? If you read his profile the only mod is a gutted cat. Some cars shouldn't be messed with.
