Balancing ???

I am having the diff in my car rebuild, I have the driveshaft and half shafts out of the car.

I am wondering should I have the driveshaft and half shafts balanced???

Has anyone balanced the half shafts before???

Is it worth it or not???

I am definetly going to have the driveshaft balanced.

Thanks any info is appreciated

The shop that did mine said half shafts were rarely a problem......usually you would have visual damage like a big dent ...

Plus half shafts turn only 1/3 to 1/4 the speed of the driveshaft based on rear end ratio..

Actually the shop that did mine only charged me for doing the driveshaft and installing the ujoints.....no extra for the half shafts..

So just do it..
