No it will be going on a l98 with an lt1 manifold. Being that it is driven of the cam i don't know were it mounts. I have never seen one on a car so i don't know if it mounts above or the side of the cam. If it mounts above how high and will it interfer with the intake.

This MSD style Distributor mounts on any small block as long as it has a "Jesel" style clogg drive timing chain set up.
It sticks up at a 12:00 position , interfering with any type of throttle body style intake.
I have never seen on it mounted on anything but a Race Car with a carburetor and old style intake. Not saying it can't go into a C4 but what alot of work.
This front style distributor has shown horsepower increases on very high RPM SBC engines. The reason being no camshaft flex at high Rpm's because the distributor timing does not vary with engine Rpm.
Kinda what the "stock "Opti-Spark" is doing anyway?
