Anyone know the thread size and pitch of this very hard to find aluminum screw?

4.5 mm. You can try Street and Performance
www.hotrodlane.cc - Someone around here found something at Home Deport several years back.

A size or p/n for the '89 TPS screw does not appear to be listed.
However, there is a reference to kits that are supposed to include
the fasteners for the TPS, the IACV and the top plate (Clean Air Cvr).
17110840 ('85-'89) FASTENER ASSORT KIT, INCL #21, #22, #42, #62
17112369 ('90-'91) FASTENER ASSORT KIT, INCL #21, #22, #42, #62
The p/n's are both GM & ACDelco. The 0840 does not come up at
GMPD or RA, but the 2369 does - roughly $16. GMPD calls this
a 'Multiport Fuel Injection Throttle Body Seal' while RA calls it a
'Fuel Injection Throttle Body'
I do not know how the fasteners changed for the '90-'91.
FWIW - the #17111606 TPS sensor kit for the '85-'89 indicates that
the screws and washers (#21 & #22) are included. About $38-$46.

Forget Ace Hardware... at least the one here, I already tried there.
Those little guys have a lot of 'TPI' on'em.
They like to stick and be drilled out too so be sure and put 'anti-squeeze' on them when you replace them.

4.5? Is this the diameter or possibly a variation of the pitch (0.45)?
Here is a selection of available sizes as per

I need to double-check the pitch, but a 58mm TB here with an
unknown past has two slotted machine screws/bolts with the following
characteristics:
- slotted pan head: M4.5 x .75 x 27mm (1-1/16" long)
(Edit: changed from M4 x .7 x 27 mm (1-1/16" long))
These are magnetic, so they are not aluminum.

Oops.
SunCr is correct, the TPS bolt/screw appears to have a M4.5 x .75 thread.

Forget about searching for that bastard size. Retap and use stainless allen heads.

Must be just your Ace Hardware. I picked up a set of these exact screws there. Forgot the size though. Indeed the anti-sieze is a smart idea.

I remember that one inparticular. Where to get em? Dunno. Might be a junkyard only item. There's probably tons of GM cars with TPS sensors with the same screws.
