I went to the track and recorded some data. I'm pretty sure something has to be wrong. I was running the same times last time I went out but this time I was using 125hp shot of nitrous and LT headers. It was pretty hot the weather was about the same as last time. I'm wondering if the nitrous is not activating. The purge is working fine. Please look over my datalog and see if you can tell if anything is wrong. On thing I noticed is that the TPS% never goes above 89.1%. Is that normal? The good news was that the new Sumitomos at 20psi hooked pretty good. My 60ft was 1.8 or 1.9 all day long. My reaction times were near perfect by the end of the day. A few .2 and even a .0 later on. So what's with the car? Please see link below.

Thanks

I'll also be post some videos this week.

Can't open a file with a .uni extension???

If trap speed is unchanged then the NOS isn't kicking in; 10chp is worth 1mph so even a 50-shot should gain 5mph.

I recorded the file with Datamaster TTS if anyone can take a look at it. Here is the link for the 94-95 y-body program. I already had the wiring harness replaced and better conections put on the where the Nitrous taps into the wiring at. http://www.ttspowersystems.com/softw...E/setup-EE.exe Thats what I figured about the N2O not working. My mph was the same or less than my complete stock runs a couple of years ago. Since then I've done all the mods in my signature.

Thanks

Edit: Also the tune I was using has some timing pulled for the nitrous so if it wasn't working that could cause me to loose a little power also. My tuner said it would only be about 7 or 8hp though.

Interesting data. Thanks for sharing.

Is the Nitrous being triggered from your tps voltage? Perhaps you're not getting enough voltage to activate the switch. Looks like you're only getting 3.24v at 89%.

I don't know anything about the set-up. Perhaps you can provide details

The car appears to be rather slow from the data, so I don't think your nitrous is ever activating.

For comparison, my modded L98 will pull through 70-90 mph in 3 seconds. Your data shows over 4 seconds in this measure.

It also appears that your 1-2 shift is very early. You can see a huge acceleration loss after the 1-2 shift.

I would think you would want the 1-2 to occur around 45 mph or about 6000 rpm. This could be addressed in your tune.

O2 voltage looks good and rich at over 900 mv.

Yes the nitrous is triggered by TPS voltage. I'm wondering if my throttle cable needs to be adjusted. I swapped out the TPS sensor and had the wiring harness changed where the N2O taps in at a few months ago. It was definately not running how I would have expected it to, even without the nitrous. I'm not sure about the shifts. My car was Tuned by PCMFORLESS. I may try to send Brian this link so he can check it out.

Thanks
