As per your helpful directions on the poor gas mileage on my newly purchased 90 vert, I found the following so far....ears broken off the o2 sensor wiring which I assume caused a possible poor connection...I had no way to test the old sensor and I had already purchased the new one so I installed the new one and (purists will shoot me) cut off the bad connectors and soldered the connection....I drive the thing and need it working, sorry....checked all vacuum hoses and connections and found nothing....the big thing I did find is the aircleaner big connection had the bottom of the flexible rubber off and probably a 1/4 inch gap....who knows for how long as the butterfly was dirty and how much dirt entered for how long is anyone's guess.... you couldn't see it from the top....
cleaned it all up and redid all connections and hope for the best....I will have to go over the car with a fine tooth comb I guess as I should have in the beginning....Thanks for the help guys....flynams
