Default Adjusting throttle cable /ASR

What is the proper method for adjusting the throttle cable that goes from the ASR to the throttle body? I don't think I am getting 100% and I just remembered that once before I had to adjust the cable. My nitrous would not activiate at the track last Sunday and I'm wondering if this could also be the reason. It only works when receiving WOT voltage from the TPS. It could also explain my sh**y times. There is a button on it and I believe it slides one way or the other to adjust.

Thanks

I'm also curious as the FSM refers to needing to hook up the tunemaster device (or whatever it is they call it) to make the adjustment. Is there a way to adjust that does not need specialized devices?

I'll have to check out my FSM. If so I could probably use my latop with the datalogger.

There is a manual adjustment for the accellerator cable. It is located on the cable a few inches from the ASR. Pull the white lever, stretch the cable, then push in the tab. Mine is stretched to the limit.

it is very simple to adjust. i did mine a while back when i put a new cable on it. you should of asked me at the track and i would of showed you there. my nitrous wouldn't work either sunday. i had the bottle filled a couple of months ago and never used it and when i opened the valve sunday at the track it only had right under 800 psi. so i had to run on the motor all day

I wish I would have. I was pretty pizzed too. My times were terrible. I can only think that the throttle was off. No nitrous either which will only activate at 100%. Thank for the offer though. By the way nice car. I think I had vid of you in front off me staging.

Does anyone have a picture of this? I tried this but my throttle is still not going 100%. I think I may be doing it wrong or something else is off. What is the proper procedure again? I did a search and read something about putting the pedal to the floor when adjusting??

Thanks
