'95 Pass Key help
Wouldn't you know it. I loaned my service manuals to a friend and now the Passive Keyless Entry is not working, at all.
Periodically it would turn the light on the DIC on, but then it would go off a short time later (within a minute or two). This was usually after 20 min of driving that I would see this. Yesterday the light came on again and then when I got home, the rear hatch popped and that was it.
I tried another fob but still no response. I have not tried reprogramming the fob as of yet.
Anyone have any ideas on what the problem is. I am going to fix this thing if it kills me.

I have the FSM for "95" with diagnostics for the PKE system. Ground #8 to #4 for codes. The Passive Keyless entry will flash the DTC'S.
Key in ignition-ignition 'Off".
Codes as flwgs;
12 Receiver memory bad.
13 Transmitter not in range
14 Non-valid transmitter received.
15 Valid transmitter received.
16 Passenger door button depressed.
17 Hatch button depressed.
Codes 12-13-14 display the current state of the system.
Codes 15-16-17 are functional codes that require the transmitter to be in range to confirm the receiver has functioned correctly.
I can scan the programming procedure if you like, advise.
You might also check the door switches & the door locks (key).
