I am going to add the SLP claw on my intake. i also see that I can get a front intake coupler that is smooth to replace the 'bellows' that come with the car. Does anyone know if the smooth front coupler does any good or any harm? I realize none of this really gives much HP gain.....

I've had them installed on mine for some time now. No problems here. I figured it may help some with the spray. I have heard that they may split with time due to the torque of the engine.

I have seen turbo guys try rippled verus smooth hose at the track with no changes in track time. Save your money for mods that make power, unless this is for looks.
Mine split in abouit a years time. Didnt crack all the way through, just superficial...From the engine torquing over, the rubber cant twist with the motor.
