Default DataMaster?

Where should one order Datamaster from, TTS or AKM cables? If it is ordered from AKM because it is cheaper do you get less service?
Thanks, Ray

Gday Ray Youve allready got the cable dont ya mate? You get the first 20 scans free with Data Master, but after that youll probably want to buy it, its a bloody good program

P.S. Hows the shift points i did for ya mate? Have you made some changes to them yet?

Gday Case! I do already have the cable and the trial version. Ive got 10 more logs left on it but Im afraid there going to go fast so I am just going to buy it now.
I had the car out yesturday and got on it. It pulls so fast that I hit the rev limiter from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. I am going to try lowering my RPM thresholds and see if that helps. I lowered them to 1024. If you have any ideas don't be shy. Thanks,Ray

Mate just pull the 100% and 93% shift points down abit, or move your rev limiter up abit if youre certain your engine is up to it. From memory i dont think i changed those upper shift points, i made all the changes in one hit, ill post up the graph in a minute.

Ok, here are the shift points as i set them for ya, all the ones in red are the ones i changed. (bit hard to see on here i know)

What is your rev limiter (fuel cut off in the ECM constants) set to on the .bin youre using now? On the first 2 files you sent me its up around 6,400rpm, did you remember to transfer all the ECM constants over when you swapped the data to your Corvette file?

I'm still running the camaro file for now. My rev limiter is set for about 6500 and thats as high as I want to go with that. My rods are only good for 7000.

Yeah mate no worries, definately drop a couple MPH off the 93% and 100% TPS shift points, depending on what speed its at when it hits the cut off.

Gday guy's! I can't seem to get ahold of Andrew at AKM cables. I have e-mailed him twice and left a message on his answering machine. It's been a week since my first e-mail. Wounder, what's going on.

Hey Case! I still haven't heard back from Bryan about that camaro file to know if it was the right one. I have also e-mailed him two or three times with no response. I did change everything over to the my vin though. Talk to ya laters mate!

Hmmm, I ordered my Datamaster software on a Sunday night, and Andrew sent an email confirmation within 30 minutes. But, that was a few years ago.

I finally ended up ordering it and then he e-mailed me to confirm. Show him a little $$$$ and he's all over it.
