Default Cooling Fan (help)

I have A 86 and I think I am having cooling fan problems. Can any one tell me if the cooling fan should keep running after I shut the engine OFF. Thanks

They don't on any of my cars. I have 2 C-4's and one C-3 with electric fans. all shut down with the turn of a key. [it's not a Honda].

On mine it does turn off when the iginition key is turned off
but will run if it is then turned back (but not all the
way to start position) if the temp is above 212. I
presume it turns off after the coolant temp drops
to some lower value (haven't left it on for that long).

No it should not. If the contacts in relay are fused together, you will get that problem. Is this a new problem ??
