Not unless your coil is bad or if you are going to add mods to run much higher RPM or forced induction. Stock is fine. If the cap etc is old that'd be worth doing, and perhaps checking the heat sink compound under the module.

For a stock motor, the stock coil should provide all the current needed to fire the plugs if they are gapped to the correct setting.

If you haven't bought plug wires yet, look at the MSD 8.5mm SuperConductor wire sets. There is less resistance per foot and the price should be similar.

Get a good cap and rotor with brass contacts instead of one with aluminum contacts.

When you install the new plugs, lightly coat the threads with some anti-sieze compound. Remove the old plugs when the heads are cold otherwise you can risk stripping the threads in the cylinder heads.

Spark plugs, get what is on sale. There are many gimmick plugs out there that are a waste of money. Stock gap is good.

Stock everything as far as ignition goes is fine for these. I wouldnt get the cheapest set of plug wires nor the most expensive, either.
