Welcome to the forum
Because of the many changes from 84-96, you may want to fill out your profile. This way, if you do not list the year in your thread, others can reference the profile to figure it out

If the fluid is full, and the filter is not plugged, cracked or has a damaged o-ring, there is little you can do. Before trailering it to the trans shop, you can try a filter swap. Make sure that the o-ring is carefully removed from the pump bore before sticking the new filter in place. Use no sealant of any kind on the gasket. It could plug the servo dump hole. Vaseline should be used to lube the o-ring and gasket.
If that fails to help, it likely has a pump problem, blocked cooler, or torque converter problem.

No third and fouth is classic 3-4 clutch pack failure. During the overhaul, be sure they upgrade the 3-4 pack. If I am doing a budget rebuild, I normally tighten up the factory 6 friction pack to about .050.
