In the above dark red bar marked "Search", click that, then click "advanced search". Should have step by step with pictures.
If that doesn't work for you, get back to us and we'll give you a direct web address.

or up top where it says "other" there are tech tips. I believe there is a writeup on the antenna.
If you have patience, it's not a hard job.
For the later C4's(I noticed you have an earlier one according to your avatar), you need to remove the rear trim pieces, remove the cargo shade(think of it as a giant toilet paper holder, it's spring loaded at both ends). Either remove the left muffler or the left wheel and wheelwell liner. Once you see the antenna motor, it's simply two screws holding it in, and I believe two ground wires.
I used a long screwdriver to push the rubber grommet through the body. The wires and antenna cable are attached to the grommet. Tie a piece of string to the end so you can fish the new one through. It will take some doing since you can't actually see the grommet, you have to feel your way through that. Once you have the grommet back in place, you can attach the new motor(or you can do that first), connect up the ground wires and then reattach the power wires and cable. The replace the cargo shade and rear hatch trim and your done. Although you may want to test it before you get everything back together first.
replaced one on my '93 coupe. Not very difficult, but plan out your every move. Don't just jump in with both feet. Mine took the better part of an afternoon, but I finally got smart and read the directions and tips others had posted.
still have the original out of the '93, anybody interested?
