This is on an NSX site, but is one of the best discussions of whether or not to use SS brake lines I've encountered. The best stuff comes towards the end

I used clear heat shrink tubing over mine to protect them from dirt/dust.

In my experience, if you have a 12" rubber line for example, you'll need at least 14" of SS line to get the same level of flexibility.

I wouldn't recommend them unless your stock lines are already bad.

I've never had a stainless line rupture, but I have had them chew through their stays. Not worth it IMO. Most, if not all, of the improved "feel" you get when installing stainless lines really comes from the fresh brake fluid flush anyway.

CC: Where do you get the clear heat shrinkable tubing? Thanks in advance!

Bought it from mcmaster.com 1/2" clear tubing.

I'm using universal Earl's lines though, and this slipped over the 4AN hose ends. I shrunk them over my toaster, it's a bitch to do large tubing with a lighter. A heat gun wouldve worked too.

To get them on the C4 replacement SS lines, you might have to remove an end fitting (if that's even possible). If not, you could use bigger shrink tubing (if they make it bigger), slit it down the middle, wrap it around your brake lines, and use a sandwich bag sealer to melt it together, cut the extra off, then shrink wrap it. Not as pretty, but should do the trick.
