Head Combustion Chamber Size

I have a stock L98 1985 and would like to know the combustion chamber size. I know the 1987 with aluminum heads was about 75cc total. This would make the head abot 64cc. I think. Anyway, if I should run across a good deal I might snap it up if I thought they would give a reasonable c/r.

It isn't clear what you mean by "total combustion chamber size". Are you including more in that term than just the size of the combustion chamber? The 1984 - 1986E cast iron heads have nominal 76 cc combustion chambers. The 1986L - up aluminum heads have 58 cc combustion chambers.

Total Combustion Chamber

I meant deck height, valve releif, head gasket volume and so on but 76cc sounds about right for the compression ratio of 9-1. Seems like pistons must be changed out for most after market heads.
