I just came across a post on the Z28 CAMARO board of a post and photos of broken BeeHive springs after only a few minutes of engine operation.
Just thought I'd pass it along. If you're interested, check it out.

That is an old post, there was a few batches of bad springs that cam out of the factory, and since then as far as I know there has not been any problems.

The date of the post is 6 Apr 2007. What am I missing here?

Do you know roughly the time period for the bad springs? I have a set of heads waiting to be installed that have those springs. They were done last summer.
The ones in that cz28 thread are from around November.
I haven't looked yet - is there a batch # on the springs that can be seen when they are installed?

There's one response showing a batch number, but I can't recall if it was the batch number of the broken springs OR the batch number of the ones the responder bought.
