If Vic is getting 11.40's with a 350, you should be 11.0's or lower with a 406 on a good launch. With the cam and heads that you are planning, you should be making good power around 500 at the crank I would think. I'm basing your mph on a local naturally aspirated 6 speed C5 that runs high 10's at around 130-131 and is making approximately 460 at the wheels.
Vic's car is exceptional. He has diligently worked his combo to near 100% perfect. I am already expecting less than ideal because I do not have the time available to fine tune it as well as Vic and others have.
In the back of my mind, I am silently hoping for 11.20 at 120 mph, but am conservative to avoid disappointment.
My cam is quite small, the torque converter is also less than ideal. I also expect that my gear ratio will be lacking as well. It suits me fine because street drivability takes priority. If I fall short, the spray can be the equalizer at the track.
As long as you promise not to pee on the seat when it launches
I would be more worried about me smacking the wall then a little pee on the seat. Sounds like it should run like a raped ape. If there's anything I can do to help let me know. Think tools not tech support.

C4's run pretty straight and true. Very easy to drive at the dragstrip. Compared to a similar Mustang or Camaro, they are much more stable.
You'll see. I will drag you to the strip shortly

I think 18 cars would put you about 12 feet from the finish line
I will only go 12.
Pete,
Let me know when you will be running I want to see it move. Will you be going to numedia? How many miles are you going to use for your break in period?

I kind of have the cart in front of the horse. Although I have everything to build up the 406, it needs assembling and installing. I will likely not install it till later in the year. I do plan to run the new 383 hard. If the weather ever breaks, I am there.

Let me know when. I have to do a tranny service too.
Would you be able to come up Ed's on a Sunday? I'll buy the beer and have a hot tub party...there is a ticking we can't identify was hoping you can take a listen and help us track the buger down.

Pete, I like to set expectations high, this way you have a goal to shoot for that will require you to squeeze out every ounce of power.
Your setup is real close to Ralph's, and he runs 10.90's.
