If you are refering to the trim that goes around the outside edge of the removable top, it's very easy. Remove the top and place it on a big table to work on it. Get some "painters tape" and mask off the edges of the trim. I used old paperbags to cover the rest of the top to prevent overspray. You'll need to use something thin to make sure the tape gets down between the trim and top to prevent a thin line on the top. Buy a can of "Trim Black" paint and some 400-600 grit sandpaper. Prep the trim by feathering in the chipped areas and follow the directions on the paint can. Hope this helps, AL
