Default LT1 intake conversion

Getting close on my lt1 intake conversion, money being the biggest hold up,Questions, can i run the maf 180* (upside down)? This will give me more room for the remote t-stat housing, also what electrical connections on the left side injector wiring harness can I get rid of,I know I need the injector plugs, fan sensor plug, and ground, can I snip and remove the rest of the plugs?I am not running any air pump crap, cold start,or egr. Thanks for any help on this, the car is an 85.

You can run the maf any way ya want to...I never seen it cause a problem if put in sideays or upside down...just be sure it wont hit the hood...

Also just tie your other wire connector plugs out of the way for now,if youre not using them.Just cutting them off and etc, dont think its a good idea. You can also bend them back and cover them up with tape or hide them someplace, shud they be needed again.

It should not be an issue to snip and tape. I usually crimp a butt connector on the end of a wire that I plan to wrap up and hide. This prevents the possibility of a hot wire grounding out and blowing a fuse.
