what is sensor in front of throttlebody on my 92?also can it make the car run rich? fouling out my o2 sensors and plugs? erik.. i un plugged sensor while running and car idled alot better.. i already put new o2 sensors in and new plugs.. drove car home no problems. 2 days later terrible missing, smalll back fires etc..

I will take a shot at what your talking about. It could be the air intake temperature sensor. If it made the engin run rich, it might fowl the plugs. And if it is the temp sensor, I would think that it would throw a code.
