Default [Pic] Can someone read my sparkplug please :)

Plugs & wires are 2.5 years old. I've had some low RPM stumbling and sluggishness around 2000RPM. WOT pulls very hard, although I did experience a high-RPM miss the other day. I'm thinking of doing new plugs and wires to start with, but I'm not sure if I need them yet. I just pulled this one out of the middle pass side. There seems to be a gray powder coating the electrode (anyone know what that's from??)

Can anyone let me know if I it's time for new plugs and wires? Thanks in advance

I know what you mean. The plug looks very nice in person though. Its when I took a pic of it zoomed in all the way on 8.0MP camera w/ alot of flash that it looked alot worse than it is.

They don't look at all work; I might clean them up and put them back in.

What gap are you running?

What year Vette?

Plugs look perfect.

Burning is clean and complete and plugs look 'new' (sharp edges).

If high rpm miss, I'd first replace all wires.
(but then, I had wire problems a few times years ago ~new factory gm~that arched.....so I've always replaced my wires FIRST without question.....even before plugs/cap/rotors)

1993. I don't know the gap because the plugs were installed by a shop when I had my cam installed

Let me correct what I stated......

Poor wires will fail upon high voltage demand. Not specifically under WOT, rather whenever the demand is there. That includes low rpm as well. In other words, whenever the coil is under demand to produce spark.

Great camera work

Those plugs look just like a good running nitrous motor with the flash washout

I agree they look pretty good...........if anything, maybe a little carbon from a lot of idling as evidenced around the perimeter, but the spark is burning that off the electrode just fine
