Default Fluctuating start-up idle

89 vette. Idle on start up is steady until 110F and them surges from 700-1100 rpm. Surge will decrease at 120f (500-900) and the around 140F will be steady at 600 rpm. If you throw the car into drive idle will automatically steady out at 500-600 rpm. All sensors have been replaced in the past two months including computer and control devices. Fuel pump, filter and regulator has been changed and ERG system is new. Thoughts? : :smash:

I don't know if the 89 is the same as the 85, but I cleaned my TB and replaced the TPS and IAC and followed the instructions in the tech tips section. It was easy to do. Did you already replace this stuff?

Pop a fuel pressure gauge on there. Watch what it does. If it's overly rich...it'll cause a fluctuation(So I've heard). Be sure the regulator isn't going bad as well. Good luck.

Anyone know where I can mail order the Gaskets for the TPI. Better yet is there someplace where they sell re-conditioned stock TPI's? :hat
