I am ordering parts for my heads and I am thinking of getting the Lunati 84155 1.65 rr (per the shop that is doing the heads). Well, the issue is that I am going to non-self-aligning so I need the guideplates and pushrods (that is my problem). I don't know if I should get the stock length PRs. Also, I am gonig to be running the stock cam and lifters that is why I think the stock size should be ok. Any ideas??? Please
Sorry, I have a 1989 coupe with auto or currently ( a pile of parts in the garage that could make a 1989 corvette). It has a stock bottom end, the heads are as stated (113 castings with 3 angle and ported blah..blah...blah) with 2.02and 1.60 I believe (not sure because they are not done), vortech supercharger v-1b (old school), accel superram base, waiting on the plenum and runners, BBK 58mm throttle body, melrose exhaust (retaining egr to hopefully reduce the nox gas) with flowmaster mufflers, msd wireswith hypercoil, shift kit on the 700r4, and thats about it. I would assume since you can use the stock push rod size with 1.6 you could do the same with 1.65 rr. If that is correct I am ordering them today!
