If anyone is still following this thread. I completed the transaction on a 52mm throttle body for an 85 through the guy on the really big auction site. It is rebored and rebuilt and a quality piece. Had to install to get my core charge back so I can tell you it works just fine.

How much dry CFM do you think this guy needs on his stock 95?

Anything under 10hp is no matter as I've done that kind of dyno difference between pulls.

Unless his stock unit developed a leak the advice he SHOULD be receiving HERE is that he doesn't need a bigger unit. But they're too many DOPES doling out advice in C4 tech.

As much as YOU over analyze stuff maybe you should figure out how much air a 4x3.48 motor needs to a 5700 rpm redline.
I know I'm right about too many dopes, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings.

Where does the first post say anything about having mods? Still think the stocker would be enough. What aftermarket brand is better, who knows.

I'm looking for a direct replacement for my stock 1995 TB....I heard people had issues with the IAC and the Air Duct Opening if they used a BBK TB. I'm leaning towards Holley (don't have the dough for AS&M). Is the Holley a direct, direct replacement meaning no adjustments needed at all to install????

All the power ive got and i still use a stock throttle body.... (bored out abit, but not to 52mm) I prefer to just push my foot down further to flow more air though, thats just the way i am i guess.

If youre going bigger and cant use the extra flow, youre (possibly) running the risk of losing power especially in the lower rpm due reduced intake air velocity.
