Default Oil filter bypass valve

The housing that bolts into the block that the filter screws onto. Cracked mine while reinstalling. Damn!! Damn!!Damn!! Does anyone know if this is still available from gm? I punch in the number on the casting but nothing comes up. This really sucks........

If you have the KC4 engine oil cooler, the oil filter adaptor is a 10055722

GM PART # 10055722

Default No gasket?

Also guys when I took it apart there was no gasket under the housing...is this right? The dealer blow up shows no gasket, but it just didnt seem right to me....

Correct. No gasket or sealant of any kind.
