'96 LT4 failed emission test, need tune
I went for an emission test here in Ontario and after spinning the wheels, the Vette failed miserably. It has very high HC and CO level at both idle and spin. The Nox and dilution was ok. The engine is modified to a 383 stroker. What should my fuel to air ratio be and other stuff? What do I need to do to pass this stupid smog sniff test? I bought the car like this, and think my cats might be gutted out. Replace with universal standard cats? Will this mess up the current computer tune?

I had to replace both my cats, the old ones were both gutted. It passed this time, but my car doesn't have the same pull. The sound of the exhaust is not that great either. I think I will have to take it in and get the 383 re-tuned.
