Paul,
Regfarding the IATs, I do not think that it is getting very much conductive / radiant heat from the close proximity to the engine. Not really sure how I could confirm that though. I have been assured that additional cooling is occuring as the air goes down the tract, but it bothers me that I am seeing no lower than 185°F. I would like to see temps that were run with an A2W where IATs are below ambiant and see what kind of power I would pick up. I am toying with this idea currently.

What is the "step-up" ratio on the YSI? What is MIP on same? The smaller the driven shive, the greater the belt angularity and thus the harder it is to keep the belt firmly planted to the shive.

I think you will find that adjusting the boost trigger point for the xxOH will help to eliminate the raw xxOH puddling in the intake tract.

I have watched my intake duct set-up on the dyno way too many times, and no evidence of collapsing under full boost. I was really nervous on making pulls without the rubber tube / air filter (basically impellor open), but Connolly assured me that it was fine (says he does it all the time). We made two passes, and the largest difference was just shy of 6WHP, which is considerably less than 1%, so easily covered in run variability. I will continue to run with the air filter in place.

I really think you should try a dyno pull with air intake, and without air intake (back to back) and see if your intake is a restriction. I am betting that it is a restriction.

The IAT sensor should be mounted between the intercooler and the T-body. The air temp should be read before it enters the t-body.

Not when you are running xxOH injection and the path between compressor and TB are reduced. The location as shown above following much discussion with Corky Bell, ATI, and several xxOH injection manufacturers.

I will need to go back and read the whole thread. I did not see a post from "Corky Bell, ATI, and several xxOH injection manufacturers" stating where to place the sensor. I just am stating personal experience going back about 17 years ago when I made the kit that is on Paul's car and what I have experienced since.
