#1) does the brake sensor that is in the master cylinder in any way affect the cruise control. my plug is broke and was just sitting on it. thought maybe it worked with the cruise control since mine isnt workin.
#2) i was reruoting some wires at the starter and i bumped my knock sensor moving the the center all the wat to the top. i grabbed the connectoer and tried to center it and it went all the way to the bottom.what i am getting at i can move thiss all over the place. is this supose to move all over or is it supose to be fixed in the center

Reason: lots of type errors
I wouldn't think that the pressure switch in MC would have an effect on cruise. It's early and my brain is still foggy so I am having a problem trying to figure out whats moving around on your KS. Is it the connector or the center of KS ??
This may help you diagnose your cruise.http://members.shaw.ca/agent86/Cruise%20Control.pdf
The brake light switch, which is on your brake pedal, is tied to the cruise control. When you touch the brakes, the cruise disengages. The hydraulic pressure differential switch on the master cylinder is not connected to the cruise.
It sounds like you've broken the knock sensor. Unplug the wire and have a look.
