Is it possible there was no MAF sensor on a 87? I've looked and pulled and opened and cannot find a plug for the MAF. Am I blind or could it not have had one? I've recieved replies as to what the plug looks like and where it SHOULD be but still nothing. PLEASE HELP !!!!
The previous owner installed an edelbrock manifold and carb. None of the plugs, hoses or anything are cut. I've seen many pics with the sensor in them but where the plug comes out for them in the pics is not in my harness. I've been looking for ever. It seems like it anyways. I'm just trying to cover my bases before I try to put it back to the TPI setup. I have ALL the intake parts other then the air tube and filter. I guess I'll just put it all in and pray it runs.

Doh!
Ok, the MAF plug I beleive is grey in color and is a normal weatherpack connecter with (thinks hard) 4 wires going into it.
I FOUND IT ! I FOUND IT ! The harness on the drivers side was hooked on a harness low in the engine bay and I thought it was feeding the enginge but it was the end of the harness. I had pulled on it before but now that it's unhooked, PRESTO! 5 wires with small female pins. Now to find a MAF and air tube that won't break the bank.
Thanks to all. I'm on a few other forums for my bike but I can't believe how much you guys use this forum. It's awsome and everybodys helpfull. I've been on a couple of sites that asumed you were supposed to know everything and treated you like a child. Not on them anymore. We don't know everything on our own but between us we got it all.
