Anyone remember off hand the amount you need to mill off of a F-body single mass flywheel for use in the vette with ZF6. I have done 2 of these, but can't remember what the amount I need to remove is. I have seen the number in posts here years past. Any info is appreciated.
I'm in the middle of this same prob. All kinds of interference with my clutch fork hitting the PP. My thoughts are the flywheel is to thick. It's a SPEC steel single mass flywheel.
I believe that is correct; mine was different since I have a two piece rear main, but I believe STL94LT1 is correct for the 86+ and the LT1 applications
Funny I ran across this from way back in the day, but I have a brand new already cut down single mass flywheel still in the box if anyone needs it. $40 + shipping and it can be yours. PM me if intersted.
