Gutting cats... worth the work?
I don't have anything to do tomorrow. Would it worth my time to gut the pre-cats. Will it throw any codes or reek of sulfur. I've gutted some on a mustang and there's really nothing to it when you have the right tools.

I gutted the main but couldn't tell any performance increase but did in noise :chevy

I know that it's cheaper to gut the precats than it is to replace them, $0 vs. $200 or so? It will make for a bit louder exhaust, & better performance. :smash:
