Nitrous progressive systems? What do you recommend?
I am looking into a progressive elctronic NOS sytem for my 93. I want it to be "sailor" proof. Simple install, and simple useage. Any recommendations, and performance gains, if you have any. Steve

Although the Nitrous Express is a little expensive, I think it is the best one out there. Install will be about the same on all of them. I have seen too many failures in too many other brands.
Let me know if I can help,

I have a NOS 100-150 kit on my car, and love it. I am not sure what you mean by "progressive", but if you simply mean running a progressive controller on your system, I wouldn't believe you need one. The biggest shot you can run on your stock motor would be a 150 shot, and I wouldn't think you would need a progressive controller. For larger shots a controller would be needed, but I feel you can get by without it. If you feel the nitrous is hitting too hard, you can simply tune it with different lengths of line from the solenoid to the nozzle. Shorter line will hit harder, longer line will hit softer. If you decide on a "dry" system, make sure you use a fuel pressure safety switch. My kit also came with an auxilary fuel pump. If interested look into NOS kit # 5174. My .02

I run the NOS 125 shot on my car, and I do use the progressive controller on my car. It is used to get the car goin and hooked up before the total shot hits.
Other than that exactly what 95AquaC4 said.

I use the controller from N2o, I think it costs around $550. It allows you to ramp up to any percentage level of N2o, and the time it takes to hit the full amount. Kinda tricky to get to work and find the settings for your combo, but worth the investment. I have never heard of anyone needing one with a 150 shot, but it might help your e.t. once you find your setting. I am still playing with mine, and I run the 350 hp jett's. Good luck to you.
