My car has been heating up alot lately to the point of where I have to shut it off. SO i checked it today and I saw that the fans are not kicking on. (this was at around 225 f) I then turned on the A/C and they kicked on... SO i am really confused with what is going on... Any help is greatly appreciated!
Also later, i tried running it around for a few miles with the A/C on, and the fans failed to kick on even with the A/C... it got up to about 240 and i shut it off.

This is probably the most discussed topic on this forum. So, you should be able to find enough reading material to keep you busy for weeks.
Which temp gauge are you going by when you say the fans were not on at 225? Reason I ask is because from the factory, and looking at the digital temp gauge the fans will not come on until approx. 227 degrees.
These cars just run hotter than any other car you've ever been around.
Is this normal? Good question, with lots of opinions
Can they be made to run cooler? Of course, again with lots of opinions
But before you go to far, you need to make sure your car is operating as it was designed to from the factory first.
Depending on the year of your car, the main fan usually kicks on in the 225° - 230° range and the aux fan at 235° - 240°, bith with the A/C off. I believe the way the A/C interacts with the fans varies over the years. You can get accurate on/off temps, and trouble shooting info from your FSM.
