The car goes into closed loop around that temperature. Buy some MAF cleaner from a company called CRC and clean the MAF sensor. I bought it at PepBoys last time. That should fix the problem. If not I would test or swap out the MAF to see if it is functioning properly.

Thanks!!

Good question. I'm not sure. Maybe some type of electronics cleaner. I know that sensor is supposed to be very delicate. I personal would not use anything that wasn't made for it. I've heard certain cleaners, like carb cleaner, will leave a residue and are not recommended. I would call a GM service department and see if they can recommend something else.

Edit: Find out what other cars sold in Germany use a MAF sensor. They have to use something to clean them.

Do you have a different tune than stock? Maybe something in open loop tuning is amiss?

I'm sure Germans have throttle body cleaner and auto parts stores. Ask them what they use.
