I have a new windshield, about a month old. Washed the car yesterday, and couldn't dry it right away (my mistake) now the glass has water spots all over it. Does anyone know of a product, or a solution that i could make to get rid of the spots. THANKS :flag
You might try using the stuff you clean the glass top stoves with. I have it for my stove and it's a very fine abrasive.
Don't  at me, but you might also try tooth paste. When I worked at an airport years ago a guy was using it on his airplane windshield to get scratches off of it.
Try straight amonia, but don't get it on your paint it wiil peel the clearcoat and burn through the paint.I us amonia on the inside and out side of my glass it works better than any glass product I've used before.

Re: water spots on windshield (dt35th)
Vanduker is right on the money! White Vinegar disolves the minerals left behind by water and steel wool will not scratch glass. Use the 000 or finer.
Also, Bon Ami is great for getting that oily road scum off glass. Sprinkle a little on a damp cloth and srub away. Use a second cloth to remove the residue. DO NOT USE COMET. This CAN scratch glass.
Normally, you can use a towel with Zaino residue to really get the glass clean but for tougher problems Bon Ami then white vinegar for water spots
