I’m installing a TPI set-up on my 82 and had a vacuum question. I need to tap into a vacuum source to operate my headlights and climate vents. My first option would be to tie into the brake booster line.
But since I’m not running egr could I attach a hose in the manifold where the hose coming from the valve cover normally go? It’s the spot on the driver’s side right below the runner about middle ways. I have it capped off right now.
Take it from the same sort of connection, IE intake manifold or whatever, as it came from on the Crossfire. I think you are going to be disappointed in the difference in performance.

RACE ON!!!
Unfortunately, I have to agree. Theres not a huge difference between the Crossfire and the TPI.
But to answer your question, yes you can put a T fitting in the brake booster hose or any strong vacuum source, but just make sure it doesnt leak or you could have no brakes or lights.
