Dash Removal
Shifter button (for an auto) is held in place with a recessed snap ring. Remove it, and the button will slide right off.
This, is actually my prefered method of removing the seats, even if I will be removing the rails as a second step. Much easier to maneuver the seats out of the car this way, and much less likely to do any damage when doing so. To attach the seat pad bail latter, run some webbing around the wire and feed it out the front of the seat housing. Then just pull up and the wire bail will effortlessly snap into place. You can do it without the webbing, but it takes some significant finger strength. Hope this helps.
Advice for whatever you have:
Move seat ALL the way back and adjust it UP as high as it will go, You can get at the front ones with either a wrench or a ratchet. I think the passenger side one only let me do one with the ratchet, I had to wrench the other one.
The backs are easier though, Move the seat ALL the way forward, then just get a deep socket and a few extensions and knock youself out.
You will also need to unplug the wiring harness to the seats, if you look under the front, or just feel around, you will feel a metal wire like hanger thing sticking out the bottom front, just as it starts to curve under the seat, its still in the plastic housing/trim in the front, so don't go too far under.
Simply push this clip thing back up under the lip of the plastic it is hanging over (takes a few tries with the tips of your fingers) then the seat cushion just lifts right out. Unplug any harnesses that are in the way of removing the seat from the car.
As long as your gears arent stripped and you can move it completely forward/backward for easier bolt access, then you can pull them in and out in a matter of minutes.

Good point dont unplug the power until all four nuts are off so you can move the seat front and back then unplug!!!
