I removed this line and added a line from the second plenum fitting to the FPR. Should this be alright? What does the vac line do anyway that goes to the FPR, and how is everyone elses hooked up that deleted the AIR???
You can just as well cap off the FPR vacuum and the same on the plenum piece if you want.
I had my vacuum line running from the FPR to the plenum directly for a while.
...I removed the check valves and found a 3/4" brass pipe end and capped the tubes on passenger and drivers side, removed hard line going to main cat and capped the cat tube with a bolt,
There is a hog crimp ring holding the pipe onto the cats nipple (pardon the phrase,, cut that off, then remove the metal clamp about 2 feet down about near the tranny pan the metal clamp is clamping the pipe onto the exhaust pipe there (remove that), and disconnect from the air feed in the engine compartment. Then pull it forward and remove it. That was all that was holding it onto my car anyways.
If you have trouble and don't plan on using it again then I guess your can just cut it into a few peices and get it out faster though... thats how I removed the cross pipe that runs on top of the water pump and to each side of the motor. Either cut that one up and take it out or have fun removing lots of stuff to get it out in one peice.
