Default H/C and whp?

Have a bet with a friend, who just put a s/c on his 01 gt mustang, On who can come the closest to what he thinks he is putting out hp wise on the dyno. Its up to $250. I know you guys have a ton of #s. Heres my setup. AFR heads 100% cnc ported 180cc 2.02/1.60 valves (competition pkg)- Comp cam hyd roller 226/232 .535/.543 with 1.6rrs, Hyd lifters, 52mmtb, ram air, LT headers, slp cat back, 34lb inj, tuned with 32 degrees advance. This is for a 93 auto.we Go for the dyno pulls next week so any thoughts would be appreciated.

As far as who's gonna pull out more horsepower, my money would be on you. The SC for Mustangs adds about 110 HP at the crank. Stock for stock you already have more than him anyway and your mods are fairly extensive without digging into the block.

Depending on your boost levels your putting out 350-400hp at the wheels. My setup w/ low boost (8 psi) & ported stoc 113 heads & cam is about 360hp & 400Tq to the wheels.

Hmmm... I just re-read your post & only he has a SC? Not you as well?

You'll probably make mid to high 300's at the wheels through the auto if your combo is dialed in.

Depending on what blower he is using, if it's intercooled, how much boost he is running, and what kind of transmission he has, he could be mid 300's as well. A freind of mine has an 01 Saleen which is basically the same 2V motor in your buddies GT with an Eaton blower on it. It makes 351 at the wheels so you might be in for a close one.

It looks to me like the OP is asking how much HP he is putting out not who has the most. He just tried to confuse us by including too much info about the friend’s mustang. I’m going to WAG your vette at 375 RWHP. You better know that I have not the slightest clue what I am talking about though.

Screw that, put that money on a race and head down for a best of 3 at the local track.

Just asked him. He didnt tell what kind. He just said it was a centrifical s/c with 7psi and no intercooler. The only other bolt ons he has are headers and cat back. Im getting the vette dialed in monday. Going to get the timing bumped up and a/f ratio.

I'll guess your 93 at 343 rwhp, and his Stang at 327 rwhp. But, he'll probably beat you on the torque.
